Other-Worldly Wonders


Here I stand,

eyes raised

to look up 

at the stars

sprinkling stardust

and waving their wands.


I wonder what goes on

up there.

I wonder

if they look down

in wonder

pondering what goes on

down here

beneath the clouds

beneath the soil,

beneath the waves,

below 

the skirts of the jelly fish

hidden

in the invisible worlds

of wonder.
