Dimensions Of Freedom

After all the effort 

of mixing and tearing,

cutting and glueing 

and then

putting paint to paper 

with a final flourish,

I wondered if it was enough.

I wonder if it is enough

to produce

a picture

so freely

that

l can 

leave it

without a title

or if words are needed

to interpret, 

to explore

the dimensions

of abstraction,

freedom

or pretence

of freedom

like the collisions

of decaying detritus

mirroring modern life

which remains untitled.
