I stood therebarelynakeda naked tree in winter,no leavesno budsno blossomnothingto relieve the bare branchesnot even for Christmaswhen so many trees gleamed and glitteredwith berriesand baublessparkled with magic.I stood therebarelywaiting for the magic.I waitedand waited. And thenI woketo find myself clothed,a green leafy garlandsnakingall around meNow I believe in magic.
